would like to invite you to share your stories
with others so that we can encourage and
inspire each other as we continue our unique
life journeys.
Your
story may be teary, funny, or both. It may
even be scary. It may be, as most stories
are, about love - love given or received
by a grandparent, parent, child, friend,
teacher, student, employer, employee, colleague,
a stranger or a pet. It could be love for
a country, for a worthy cause…
It
may be about your dreams – we all
have dreams, big or small - and how you
realised them through tears and sweat…
It
may be about the obstacles and handicaps
that you faced in completing a duty or responsibility,
and how you came to terms with them and
overcame them…
And,
it may be your observations of people around
you and their stories, or a historical event,
that gave you food for thought...
Whatever
it may be, we would love to hear from you.
Feel free to send in more than one story.
We
request that your stories should be:
- between
500 to 2,000 words;

based on real-life experiences and non-fictional;
-
accompanied by a short introduction about
yourself, as well as the main message
of the story that you wish to share.
Please
send each story with your name (and a pen-name
if you wish), year of birth, contact address,
telephone number and email address. Be assured
that all your personal information will be
kept confidential unless you choose to share
it with other readers.
Selected stories
will be published on this website for visitors
to read. As this is being done in the spirit
of sharing, no fees shall be paid for any
stories published on this website. We also
reserve the right not to publish any stories
that we deem unsuitable for publication.
We may also use your
stories for future printed books, e-books
or other media to be sold for profit. However,
this will be done only with your permission
and upon us agreeing on a fee for the use
of your story. We however seek your understanding
that selection and publication are long
processes that could take months or years.
