Lovell Lim,
an 11-year-old schoolgirl in Primary 5
| Good
Afternoon. Ladies and Gentlemen. My
name is Lovell Lim Li Ying and I am
from Tampines Primary School. I am
glad to be here today to share my
review of the book “BreakThrough”
with all of you.
Firstly,
I like the book written by Uncle George
Tan. It is easy to read, easy to understand
and so interesting that it kept me
looking forward, each time I picked
up the book to read, to continue reading
till the end of the chapter and beyond.

| Ladies
and Gentlemen! My name is Nicholas
Ang. A very good afternoon to all!
First,
let me thank Uncle George for giving
me this opportunity to stand here
in front of each of you to share my
reflections on the book, “Break
Through”. Indeed, it has given
me great courage to speak aloud of
the adversities that Uncle George
had encountered during his growing
years, and how he had turned them
into resilence and strength, to be
what he is today!

Shengnan, a 17-year-old school girl
in Pre-University I
| A
very good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
[I am Shengnan, a student of Raffles
Junior College.] I’m very honoured
today to be given ten minutes in front
of such a distinguished audience.
As
a JC-1 student now, I would sometimes
look back and reflect on my own growing
up in the past sixteen years or so.
And I would find that this process
of slowly maturing to adulthood is
marked by many unforgettable experiences.
They have played a very significant
role in shaping my character and steering
me in the direction that my life heads.

| A
very good evening to all.
Thank
you for the opportunity to share my
thoughts on Mr George Tan’s
book – ‘Soulprints 1 –
Breakthrough’
I
read the final draft of ‘Soulprints
1 – Break Through’ as
it was about to go into print back
in August 2005. It has been quite
a few months back but the contents
still remain very clear in my mind.
